Event organizers have planned a week-long celebration showcasing the area as an emerging and vibrant craft and specialty beer destination -- and you don't want to miss out.

McDonald’s engages kids in after school program "TiViTz Tuesdays"

Hillsborough County, Florida-- Today marks the first "TiViTz Tuesday", an educational event geared towards parents, teachers and kids to be held at local McDonald's restaurants through April.

SAS Games and TiViTz have partnered with owners and operators of Hillsborough County McDonald's restaurants to motivate kids to make the most of their abilities through playing TiViTz, a game based on mathematics and strategy.

Tampa, Florida -- Mark your calendars now as Festa Italiana, Flan Fest, the Gasparilla Film Festival and the Cuban Sandwich Festival are among several upcoming Ybor City events.

Krewe of Knights of Sant' Yago Knight Parade

Each year, The Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago, with support from the City of Tampa, hosts a parade through Ybor City. Popular national TV host Steve Wilkos is this year's Grand Marshal.

Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta scheduled for February

Tampa, Florida -- The Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta is scheduled again from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 6 at Lykes Gaslight Square, 410 N. Franklin Street in Downtown Tampa.

The event is scheduled the first Wednesday each month as several food trucks line up around Lykes Gaslight Square across from Tampa City Hall.
