Helicopter crashes at Peter O'Knight Airport | News
TAMPA, Florida -- A helicopter operated by a student pilot crashed at Peter O'Knight Airport Wednesday evening, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Tampa Fire Rescue said crews arrived after 6 p.m. to find the helicopter on its side after it tipped over during a hard landing.
Neither the student nor the instructor on board were injured.
