Texas Governor Rick Perry, a former Presidential hopeful, told 10 News he's not the mystery speaker.
"Not me. I'm not mysterious enough for that slot," Perry joked.
Other guesses have included NFL and former Gators quarterback Tim Tebow and actor/director Clint Eastwood.
Eastwood reportedly will be in Florida on Thursday and supports Romney in his bid to become President.
When asked if she had any insights, Rep. Michele Bachmann told 10 News; "No I don't. I don't have anything to offer."
Another name some people are discussing is Sarah Palin.
Former RNC chair Michael Steele said she would be an excellent pick.
"I hope its Sarah Palin. I think that would be an enormously good surprise for this convention. It would rock the house. It would send folks out the door with a great high on top of the one they'll have from Mitt Romney."

But 10 News Political Analyst Frank Alcock warns whoever the Romney camp selects they would be wise to pick someone who is low risk and won't upstage Romney or won't turn any potential voters off.
"You're not going to want to have a divisive or polarizing figure given that it's going to be a close election and you don't want to turn off moderate voters," Alcock said.
Whoever the mystery speaker is, they are scheduled to speak around 10 p.m. on Thursday.
