Tampa, Florida -- The Tampa Bay Lightning has opened up voting to the public for the top players.

Fans are being asked to pick their "Best of the Bolts" who will be honored during the 2012-13 season as part of the franchise's 20 Years of Thunder celebration. Fans can cast their votes for their favorite players, coaches and general managers spanning the team's entire history at 20yearsofthunder.com. 

Voting ends on Sept. 10 and results will be revealed on Sept. 20.

On Sept. 20, fans can also submit their memories for each "Best of the Bolts" and top moments. The team says fan submissions may be featured on the new, $5 million LightningVision scoreboard during the 2012-13 season and on 20yearsofthunder.com.

Voting for the top moments in franchise history closed on July 19, however, fans can still check them out and add them to their Facebook profiles.
