Bar exam held next week, find out famous folks who failed first try | News
Tampa, Florida -- If you see several stressed out men and women in downtown Tampa next week, there is a logicial explanation.
The Florida Board of Bar Examiners is holding Florida Bar Exams July 23 through July 27.
The test-taking takes place at the Tampa Convention Center in the East Center and West halls of the facility.
In order to practice law, attorneys must pass the bar exam. About 70 percent of the people who take the test get a passing grade. Among those who failed the bar the first time around include:
Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist who failed twice
- California Governor Jerry Brown
- John F. Kennedy Jr.
- Hillary Clinton who failed the D.C. bar but passed it in Arkansas
- Former Chicago Mayor ,Richard Michael Daily
- Former Dean of Stanford Law School, Kathleen Sullivan
