Secret Paris of '30s at Florida Museum of Photographic Arts

Tampa, Florida -The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is presenting an exhibit called the Secret Paris of the 1930's. It features photographs from internationally know photographer Brassai.

The museum says the works include five rare Transmutations photographers with the cliché-verre technique.

According to the museum, that is a hybrid of photogrpaphy, primarily of female nude subjects and etching where Brassai scratched his choice of imagery onto the photographs.

The exhibit runs through August and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is in its new home 400 Ashley Drive Cube 200 in downtown Tampa.
