Car vs. Pedestrian accident on Twiggs | News

Tampa, Florida-- At approximately 3:20 this afternoon, a driver in Downtown Tampa struck a pedestrian who failed to use a crosswalk when crossing Twiggs St.

Officers closed Twiggs between East St. and Jefferson St., but the road has since be re-opened.

According to police, the pedestrian was taken to Tampa General Hospital with non life threatening injuries, and the driver was not cited for the accident.
