Sign up for Alert Tampa! | Families

Tampa, Florida-- With hurricane season in full swing, and the RNC right around the corner, it is important for Tampa residents to stay on top of city updates and alerts. Tampa Fire Rescue encourages you to sign up for Alert Tampa to do so.

Visit Tampagov.net/fire, click on the 'Sign Up Now' tab located at the bottom of the page and insert your contact information to get started.

once signed up, be sure to utilize the 'Know Your Zone' tool, which they say will help you understand if you are in an evacuation zone. 

To get started, simply type in the address of you or your family member's home, your work, or your children's school and click 'Find Address'. When alerts are delivered to have a respective zone evacuate, you will know if it is you or your loved one, so you can put your evacuation plan into action.
