Tourist Development Council to hold quarterly meeting | Events

Tampa, Florida-- In order to help manage how public dollars for tourism are spent,  Hillsborough County has a Tourism Development Council  or TDC. 

The TDC will hold its regular quarterly meeting at 3 p.m. August 9 in the in the 2^nd Floor Boardroom of County Center, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd in Downtown Tampa.

According to the TDC website" This council prepares a tourist development plan for the Board of County Commissioners, recommends uses for the tourist development tax revenue, and monitors trust fund spending. It also makes recommendations to the commissioners for developing tourism in the area."
