Top Reporter: Tampa Bay Talent Showdown | Community Spirit

Tampa Bay, Florida -- The Tampa Bay Partnership announced today the "Top Reporter: Tampa Bay Talent Showdown" contest to find Tampa Bay's "next big talent" in broadcast to report from the field and in front of a live studio audience during the four days of programming for the Front Row Tampa Bay event which will take place August 27-31.

Tampa Bay-area residents are invited to submit a one- to two-minute video showcasing why they, or someone they interview, love the Tampa Bay region. Through their submissions, the aspiring reporter should portray ease and comfort in front of the camera, top-notch interviewing skills and the capability of asking thought-provoking questions on a variety of topics.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Individuals interested in competing for this opportunity can submit their videos to Shannon Byrne in one of the following ways: Upload your video to YouTube and email the link to sbyrne@tampabay.org;  Post your video to Front Row Tampa Bay’s Facebook page; or Tweet a link of your submission to @frontrowtb.

Front Row Tampa Bay is a live streaming Web TV broadcast, airing during the Republican National Convention, that will showcase life, business and economic opportunities across the Tampa Bay region. Presented by the Tampa Bay Partnership, the event will feature business leaders, newsmakers and economic experts who will come together to discuss the Tampa Bay and Florida economies.
