Tampa, FL -- Noted actress Katherine Michelle Tanner in a self-written and directed solo musical theatre peon to Love.
Featuring standards as well as original material and accompanied by piano and acoustic guitar.
Tanner is know in the bay area for her critically acclaimed performances with resident professional theatre companies such as American Stage Company, Gorilla Theatre and Stageworks Theatre.
Among these performances include the title role in Jane Eyre and Ophelia in Hamlet. She previously graced the Mainstage Theatre here at Hillsborough Community College with her tour de force performance of all the women in Charlie Chaplin's life in David Pomeranz's musical Chaplin.
She appeared in over 14 roles over the course of three seasons at the Asolo Theatre Festival, including her acclaimed one-woman show Idiot Servant.
Some film credits include Lucky Irish, The File, and the Academy Award Nominated short Respire, Mon Amie.
She holds a B.A. triple major from St. Olaf College and an M.F.A. in Acting from The Asolo Theatre Conservatory.
The Mainstage Theatre is in the Performing Arts Building of the Ybor City campus of Hillsborough Community College.
It is located at the corner of E Palm Ave. and N 14th Street.
The show is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $10.00 General Admission, $5.00 Seniors and Students. All HCC Students, Faculty and Staff are admitted Free of Charge with valid ID.
The Box Office opens one hour prior to performance.
