Is Tampa ready for protestors during 2012 convention?

Tampa, Florida - Demonstrators at a political convention are nothing new. In fact, police prepare for it during election years.  Each convention provides its own set of problems and concerns.

Law enforcement knows that protestors can sometimes be difficult to deal with if they don't follow the rules.

In recent weeks, the Tampa Police Department has gotten a taste of protesting crowds on a small scale. The Occupy Tampa movement has seen protestors taking over part of downtown at Curtis Hixon Park.
