Tampa, Florida -- Are you ready to start your holiday shopping? The Junior League of Tampa is hoping to make it easy for you!

Friday kicks off the 8th annual Holiday Gift Market and this year, it's bigger than ever, featuring about 150 vendors from all over the country.

Here's the best part...it's all for a good cause! 100 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to programs supported by the Junior League that benefit the neediest children in our community.

Tampa, FL -- The second annual Ybor Jazz Festival continues this weekend with shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Daily festival admission is $15.

Former SNL star performs at Tampa Improv this weekend

Tampa, FL - Former Saturday Night Live star Kevin Nealson will be performing at the Tampa Improv this weekend. Nealon, who has also starred in Showtime's critically acclaimed series Weeds, will perform tonight and tomorrow night.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. while Saturday's shows are set for 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Nealson, who appeared earlier today on Studio 10, also has a number of Hollywood movies to his credit including The Wedding Singer, Happy Gilmore and You Don't Mess with the Zohan.

This festival celebrates all Hispanic Arts and cultures from around the world. You will have the chance to experience a variety of national and International performers at Al Lopez Park on Nov. 6 from 11 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Past acts include performances by Cuban, Puerto Rican, Columbian, Panamanian, Argentinean, Uruguayan, Mexican, Spanish, USA or Dominican musical bands.

Troubled Club Empire closes

Tampa, Florida -- Troubled Ybor City night spot Club Empire has closed. The announcement came Thursday morning as city council members were scheduled to hear about what steps they might be able to take to force the venue to shut its doors.

"On behalf of the Empire Club, I'm here to announce that the club has officially closed its doors after 18 years of business," John Brewer told council members.

Crucial prosecution witnesses take stand in Kevin White trial

Tampa, Florida - It must have been a strange day in court for former Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin White; two men who he used to trust testified against him.

Peter Rockefeller took the stand for prosecutors. He's a Tampa towing business owner who worked with the FBI.

When U.S. Attorney Robert O'Neill asked Rockefeller why he wore a wire to help make hundreds of hours of secret audio recordings, Rockefeller replied, "I wanted an opportunity for things to be fair."
