Bayshore crash victim honored by friends after being taken off life support

Tampa, Florida-- Days after his car sped across the wall on Bayshore Boulevard and plunged into Tampa Bay, the family of 19-year-old Michael Agana made the difficult decision to take him off life support.

That happened at Tampa General Hospital around midnight, around the same time a crowd gathered at the crash scene to hold a vigil in his honor.

On Wednesday, Agana's former band director at H.B. Plant High School, Robert Shoos, spoke to 10 News about Agana, who he considers one of the nicest and hardest working students he's ever taught.
